The reason for this is that, in the future, you want to be able to know what repairs have been done in case your device stops working again. Also, you want to pay as little as possible if your device breaks again by knowing whether or not your product is under warranty.

Once your Apple device has been repaired you want to be sure that you understand any which, if any, new warranties were applied so you will be able to save money in the future if your device breaks again.
